How to plan the perfect barbecue party

October 26, 2018

To plan a successful barbecue party, the same steps are mandatory whether you’re hosting a huge ‎crowd or simply gathering with your close family and a few friends. All you need is a little ‎preparation and the right appliances! ‎

‎1 week ahead: plan and take notes

If you’re planning to cook herb crusted lamb chops, check if you already have some of the ‎ingredients in your refrigerator and pantry. Write down the rest of your items on a piece of ‎paper. That way when you hit the supermarket, all you have to do is reach out to the items ‎you need. ‎

‎1 day before: prepare ahead

You probably are planning to serve cold salads. To save time on the awaited day, chop and ‎shred your vegetables a day before and toss them the next day with your favorite dressing. ‎For main dishes such as lime and coriander marinated flank steak, the longer you marinate the ‎main ingredient the better flavors you’ll get when you grill it the next day using Optigrill +.‎

Day of the event: time for last minute preparations

Prepare sauces, dressings and dips 3 to 4 hours before your guests’ arrival. In the last few ‎minutes before they arrive, toss the salads and set the table. Once they’re here, welcome them ‎with cold beverages. Preheat the electrical grill; when it’s ready, throw in your steaks and ‎taouk skewers and socialize for few minutes until the main course is ready. ‎ ‎
